Joint CSIR-UGC Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lecturership (NET) December-2017 CORRIGENDUM The candidates of December-2017 JRF NET Exam who had opted for "JRF only" and have obtained marks above the Lecturership cut-off of their respective categories are declared qualified for Lecturership subject to fulfilling criteria for Lecturership as laid down by UGC. The roll number of these candidates are given on enclosed sheet. Due to above additions in the result of Lecturership, there has been a change in comparative ranking which is available on our website www.csirhrdg.res.in under the link December-2017 Lecturership revised result. For CSIR-JRF and UGC-JRF, the result shall remain the same.

Applications are invited for the post of JRF to work on a DST, SERB funded research project entitled “Approximation by generalized Kantorovich type sampling series.” The duration of the project is 3 years.

Eligibility : M.Sc. (Mathematics) with division first class (or at least CGPA 6.75) and a good academic background with sound knowledge in Real Analysis & Approximation Theory. Candidate must have qualified NET/CSIR-UGC JRF/GATE in Mathematics.

Salary: Rs. 25000 per month + HRA*(first two years) Rs. 28000 per month + HRA* (after two years) * HRA is as per norms of DST, SERB. Last date for sending application is April 30, 2018.

The Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF) scheme is aimed at attracting the talent pool of the country to doctoral (Ph.D.) programs of Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for carrying out research in cutting edge science and technology domains, with focus on national priorities. Fellowship of Rs.70,000/- per month for the first two years, Rs.75,000/- per month for the 3rd year, and Rs.80,000/- per month in the 4th and 5th years. Apart from this, a research grant of Rs.2.00 lakh per year will be provided to each of the Fellows for a period of 5 years to cover their academic contingency expenses and for foreign/national travel expenses.
